The Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures (AAPSEF) is an interdisciplinary research and innovation institute established by The Education University of Hong Kong in 2023. The primary mission of AAPSEF is to address the challenges and opportunities faced by Hong Kong, the nation, and humanity in the present and future. AAPSEF achieves this through strengthening applied policy research, conducting in-depth studies, providing practical solutions, and translating research outcomes into practical applications. The academy focuses on various areas, including but not limited to, economic and manpower studies, artificial intelligence and digital literacy education, enterprise and innovation education, higher education leadership, national security and legal education, STEAM education, and innovation.

Aspiring by the university's goal to be a leading university in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on Education and complementary disciplines, and recognised for our excellence in nurturing competent and caring professionals and the impact of our scholarship, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS) is currently experiencing rapid expansion in terms of academic and research programmes. Based upon our very strong research and academic links with regional and international institutions, FLASS aims at expanding its undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes by launching joint-degrees at both UG and PG levels with leading universities in Asia, Europe, Australia and the USA.

The Faculty of Humanities (FHM) aspires to be a leading academic centre for the pursuit of humanistic inquiries in an interdisciplinary environment. We promote the pursuit of academic knowledge, artistic excellence, cross-cultural awareness and global competencies, with a view to nurturing our graduates through a wide spectrum of the humanities. We strive for excellence in research, teaching innovations and artistic achievements in order to address complex issues in society through human imagination and to foster a cosmopolitan outlook using the robust philosophy and new methods of the humanities.

The Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD) is one of the three faculties at The Education University of Hong Kong. The FEHD stands at the forefront of research into Education and Psychology. We offer 53 distinct programmes ranging from sub-degree to doctoral level encompassing a wide range of specialisations designed specifically to upgrade students' professional knowledge and skills.

Invest Hong Kong Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is the investment promotion agency of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), driving innovation and high-growth industries, and boosting employment and economic diversification. Through international promotion, professional advisory services, and regional collaboration, it aims to attract foreign capital, technology, and talent, and to advance R&D, fintech, and emerging industries. 

 

Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB) aims to develop Hong Kong into a knowledge-based economy and an innovation hub for technology and its application in the region through creating a vibrant ecosystem for the government, industry, academia and the research sector with excellent software and hardware support. ITIB encourages private-sector R&D and commercialization, coordinate inter-bureau policy efforts, and deepen collaboration with other economies to boost scientific and technological exchanges.

 

Hong Kong Productivity Countil The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is a multi-disciplinary organisation established by statute in 1967 to promote productivity excellence through relentless drive of world-class advanced technologies and innovative service offerings to support Hong Kong enterprises. As a nationwide leader in innovative, market-driven research and development (R&D) internationally, specialising in leading technologies and all-rounded manufacturing services, HKPC promotes new industrialisation in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area and facilitates the development of new productive forces, leveraging innovation and technology (I&T), as well as bolstering Hong Kong to be an international innovation and technology centre and a smart city. 

 

Innovation and Techonology Commission The Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) is dedicated to promoting applied research and technology transfer, accelerating the commercialization of technologies, and enhancing international competitiveness. The ITC fosters innovation, supports technology entrepreneurship, and upgrades infrastructure and human resources to sustain development, while advancing Hong Kong as a knowledge-based, world-class economy through policy implementation, standards elevation, and staff training.

 

SME Link SME Link strengthens support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and raises SMEs’ awareness of the various funding schemes. It consolidates the Support and Consultation Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises (SUCCESS), SME Centre, SME One, and TecONE—operated by four government departments—into a one-stop, four-in-one service for SMEs, starting on 1 October 2019. The service offers business information, funding schemes, and advisory support.
